Michelle Smith
CEOMichelle joined GUK in early 2015 following an accomplished career in the aviation sector. Throughout her career, Michelle has developed an extensive range of management skills built up through operational and service driven industries. Michelle is a highly experienced strategist and a risk management professional. Her proven business continuity expertise enabled her to deliver effective management initiatives on large scale projects. Past projects include initiatives for the London Olympics 2012 and working at a government level for business continuity planning borne out of public enquiries.
Michelle has overall responsibility for all aspects of GUK’s commercial, operational and strategic business planning. She is passionate about customer service and believes in creating an environmental culture where service delivery is at its core.
Peter Rees
COOPeter has had a distinguished career in both the Police and the Military. Throughout his career he has become a recognised expert in counter terrorism and close protection. With experience in cover operations, Peter has provided executive protection for members of the Royal Family, Cabinet Ministers and dignitaries, both within the UK and around the world.
Peter is responsible for all aspects of GUK’s operational activity, including overseeing the management of all security teams operating throughout the UK. His involvement extends to high level account management and client liaison. Peter’s career history has enabled him to have unrivalled experience within the security industry and a passion for safeguarding our Cities.
Eddie Stone
Head of Business DevelopmentEddie was one of the fundamental founders of GUK in 2003. He cultivated the commercial and financial structure of the company whilst growing the reputation for being an experienced security firm. Eddie’s background is in sales and customer service, which has proven invaluable with the organic growth of GUK throughout the years. Before GUK, Eddie studied the property industry and found estate management particularly interesting. This additional knowledge has helped to support GUK clients and manage expectations throughout particularly turbulent times in the property industry.
Eddie is responsible for the Business Development of GUK, he helps drive the business forward and assists in maintaining the continuity of service that our clients have learnt to expect.
Jessica Campbell
Finance ControllerJessica joined GUK in 2019 and has experience in finance within the security services industry specifically for over 10 years. Jessica is a part-qualified member of the ACCA and has experience managing all aspects of finance and payroll, ensuring financial compliance and working together with clients and suppliers to ensure internal and external processes run smoothly within the business.
Jessica is GUK’s Financial Controller and is responsible for making sure that customer service is embedded throughout our back office and flows through to our clients.
Natalie Moran
Head of Reception UKNatalie has worked on behalf of GUK for almost 15 years and has worked in various roles around the company. Natalie’s career began in retail, where her passion for customer service was ignited. Throughout her time at GUK she has worked within a number of departments, including the helpdesk, accounts and now heads-up Reception UK (RUK). These have enabled Natalie to gain a wide range of experience, allowing clients to rely on her for a spectrum of topics. Natalie is responsible for RUK, both operationally and in regards to business development. Her customer service background ensures that high standards are reached and attention to detail is of the upmost importance at all times.
Dion Redelinghuys
Head of OperationsDion joined GUK in 2006 and has a wealth of experience in both corporate and retail security. Throughout his time at GUK Dion has held a variety of senior operational roles, including the management of the Regent Street Portfolio in London’s West End on behalf of the Crown Estate.
Dion is GUK’s Head of Operations and oversees his team of managers around the UK. His experience and knowledge help him to ensure compliance is maintained and high standards are promoted throughout our contracts.
Alan Ennis
Regional Head of OperationsAlan Ennis has worked in the security industry for over 12 years. With a background in accreditations, including ISO’s, ACS and British Standards, he joined GUK as a great asset. Alan is currently based from our Reading Office and has recently become our Regional Head of Operations, managing teams from the Reading and Bristol areas up to Scotland and the North of England. Before working for the security industry Alan spent 24 years in the British Army as a Private Soldier and a Warrant Officer.
Wayne Collins
Head of Mobiles & Central ServicesWayne has been with us for a number of years and is a prime example of promoting from within. Following roles in both mobile controls and concierge, his enthusiasm and commitment guided him to become Control Room Manager. Along with his Leadership and Management diploma, Wayne’s extensive organisational skills have allowed him the necessary composure to oversee such a vast operation. Having just received the Service Manager Of The Year Award, Wayne is a proven leader whom ensures efficiency across the board.
Amanda Boyd
Head of Human Resources and TrainingAmanda is an experienced Human Resources manager with a wealth of experience in employee relations. She is passionate about employment law and business development.
