What does your job involve?
I check the whole site, patrolling hourly, as well as reacting to any unwanted behaviour. I have CCTV training so I monitor CCTV from the control room.
What do you like about working for GUK?
Apart from working with a great bunch of people, there are loads of opportunities to train and progress. It is my ambition to become a Contract Manager at GUK.
What does your job involve?
As the helpdesk team, we control the guard rosters, including logging absences and authorising holidays. We generate weekly Timegate reports to track the working hours of our staff, making sure they all get paid correctly. We keep online logbooks and client portals updated on a daily basis. We generate Incident Reports in the event of an incident, and ensure that all sites are taken care of to our high service standards. We also cover Disaster Recovery and ensure all laptops and hardware is kept up to date and ready for action.
What do you like about working for GUK?
GUK offers loads of variety in the working day, I love all the new challenges and opportunities to solve issues for the contract managers and the clients. The help desk works across shifts, which is really flexible for me. I enjoy working as part of a team, and getting to work with my colleagues across GUK, as well as getting to talk to new people, from new guards to new clients.
What does your job involve?
Mobile patrol job involves lock and unlock, audits, inspections, patrols, attending alarm calls and carrying out duties for clients professionally and responsibly.

GUK has a highly professional environment, and it feels like everyone is cooperative and helpful. GUK is a place where anyone can get an opportunity to achieve their goals.
What does your job involve?
I work within the Aviation section of GUK as a ground security supervisor, I started as a security officer and was quickly given the opportunity to progress my career. It’s a very diverse department within the company where we are given the chance to meet a wide range of people and provide a really personal service. We ensure the safety of all passengers by means of screening luggage goods and all staff with access to the aircraft in the private section of aviation.

GUK is a very flexible and understanding employer who really take the time to invest in their staff, it’s an exciting company to work for who cover many different sectors.
What does your job involve?
Above all my job involves delivering a five star customer service to all in representing RUK Reception as the face and image of the company. I meet and greet staff, contractors and all visitors to the site, and assist them in any way. My role covers access control, Health and Safety checks and internal and external patrols to ensure the building is all secure, and that the wellbeing and safety of all staff and visitors and property is maintained. I monitor CCTV and work with my GUK colleagues if there any security issues. I work with the building staff and contractors, liasing with them and management and landlords, and addressing any issues effectively. I take care of training new employees for reception duties and building management tasks, ensuring these are carried out in a professional manner.
What do you like about working with RUK?
I consider the RUK Management team to be phenomenal in being helpful, supportive and fair. Employees are made to feel valued, respected, cared for and are given the opportunity for growth within the company. I feel very privileged to work for RUK.
What does your job involve?
As an HR Advisor, my job involves working in partnership with the Contract Managers to ensure a happy work environment for all our employees. The key aspect of my role is to attract, hire, retain, reward, develop and care for our diverse workforce. My key focus and interest is employee engagement, as a team we are working hard to present GUK as a company an employee is proud to work for.
What do you like about working with GUK?
GUK is a great company to work for, having worked here since completed my A-Levels they have enabled me to develop my confidence and knowledge within HR. GUK have always supported my development to achieve my CIPD Level 5 Diploma.
